I
appreciate the information you provided on the Manufactured
Home Owners Network. In California alone, there are over 600,000
mobile home owners, the vast majority of whom are retired
senior citizens. Your Internet service to mobile and manufactured
home owners provides an important resource. I commend you
for it.
Again,
thank you for you interest and the information you provided.
If I can be of any assistance in the future, please contact
me at 714-621-0102 or my Washington
Director, Nancy Ramirez at 202-225-2965.
Very
truly yours,

Just
want you to know I am reading all you send and appreciate
the time you take to do all you do. I care for my elderly
parents who live in a wonderful park, Forest Gardens in Lake
Forest, California. You helped me with some questions I had
in my initial search for that mobile home and I will always
be grateful.
Thanks
again and keep up the good work!
Linda
Right on, John!
If
you need a great testimonial of how much you help mobile home
owners, CALL ON US! I swear we would not have won our suit
with Pine Lakes Ranch if you would not have given us info
and direction on what/how to go about it!
Thanks
again!

Hi
John,
I'm
taking the time to write to thank you for a very informative
website.
I have read most of your website, but since time is of the
essence, I will go back to it when given more time to read
and absorb it better.
I
have read in certain sections where permission to copy any
part of the documentation must be requested, and I am therefore,
requesting if I can copy some of the information to give to
the other residents.
I
believe our fight has just begun, and I am hoping through
your help, and what others have gone through, to be able to
proceed in an organized fashion. Please inform me if it would
be all right to copy. Again, thank you so much. I have learned
a great deal.
Sincerely,
Leslie
Thank
you for sending all the information on mobilehomes. I certainly
appreciate receiving it. It has been quite an education. You
are doing good work,
informing mobilehome owners.

Your
information and forums, even though a lot pertaining to California,
are
of invaluable assistance to us up here in the great northwest.
Keep up the good work

Dear

Please
believe me when I tell you that your hard
work and integrity does not go unnoticed.
Thank
you,

John,
I
want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your very
very informative emails on various goings on in the manufactured
home industry. I think without them my husband and myself
plus many others would be left out in the cold on many items
dealing with our chosen lifestyle living in a manufactured
home. When I first discovered your site on the internet both
my husband and myself think of you as the Clark Howard for
the Mobile Home Industry. I hope I haven't offended you in
putting you in the same class as Clark Howard, we respect
the both of you so very much and without gentlemen like yourselves
doing the work you do on behalf of the public like you do
we the public would be in deep trouble.
You
keep us up to date and where we can write should the occasion
arise.
I
know you must hear this all the time but THANK YOU
for being here for ALL OF US!
Sincerely,
ALMOST RETIRED IN RIVERSIDE

Your
following is growing. Keep
up the good work! Take
care.

Mr.
Sisker,
Thank
you for having a site such as yours. Whether we own a site
built or
manufactured home, we all run into problems from time to time.
I have not read everything on your site but it appears to
be quite extensive.

John,

Dear
John:
I
noticed my name was getting low on your long list of people
that receive your newsletter. I hope that this doesn't mean
that my name will be dropped. Both my husband and myself enjoy
your letters very much and have learned a lot from them,
and am working on setting up our park in a mobilehome association,
once the park gets more people in it.
Thank
you for all the work you do.

John
Sisker,
Carol
and I have been quite impressed by the projects undertaken
by one individual. Your research has always thorough and comprehensive,
and your fact checking
always accurate.
I
have had the pleasant opportunity to read your editorial position.
And I strongly recommend to our mid-level Property Management
staff, and young Paralegal read your publishing.
Carol
and I moving to Alva, Oklahoma, for 6 months to a year on

John,
I
believe you fulfill your goal of keeping mobilehome owners'
apprised of the new
and
old problems of living in our communities and I, for one,
appreciate the enlightenment that you have brought to me and
the owners' I share the
information with that do not have computers.
Thank
you for your time and effort.

First,
I would like very much to thank you for including me in your
mailing of the Watchdog
I'm
sure you realize that it has been a number of years since
I have been directly involved with GSMOL (Golden State Manufactured-Home
Owners League).
However, after over 15 years of service to a cause, I regard
that very dear to my heart, and still do today. I want you
and your Board to know, that they have a staunch supporter
in the goals of your service to the mobilehome community.
All
I can say, hurray for what you are doing for the cause of
the mobilehome
owners and residents of California (and elsewhere) today.
Please
make sure that I remain on your mailing list for upcoming
mailings,
let others know that "Past Zone VP" Dennis still cares, and
will continue to offer
any possible assistance, to further the goals of YOUR Board,
and the best interest
of all Residents of the California Mobilehome Community!!
I
may not have a vote anymore, but I still DO care!!!
Pass on my best regards to all involved.

An
EXCELLENT Website!

The
Manufactured Home Owners Network is a highly regarded
organization
within the Statehoods of the United States of America and
the International Communities of the World. We, the Blue Ribbon
Website Award Committee are honored to award this well deserving
organizational website.

Mr.
Sisker:
Recently
I have had the opportunity to view your web page, and what
I have to say is thank you for being available to mobilehome
owners. Many people still don't realize that they have a voice
about their rights. Clay Harrison has been an inspiration
to me, he has given me the courage to stand up for my rights
and the rights of others. With people such as Clay Harrison
and also with your web page maybe people will be more inclined
to take a step forward and not let the park owners continue
to abuse their rights any longer. Thank you and all of the
people who help you by giving of their time and expertise
to see that we are armed with the knowledge to fight.
Respectfully,
Linda Mc Coy
Dear
Mr. Sisker,
I
have been reading your information that you have passed along
and it has not
only been very interesting but very helpful as well. In fact
your website has been
so inspirational that I have managed to build my own website
with some help of my friends here in Idaho. I would like to
invite you view my website and if you would like to give me
some feed back and/or leave information that would be of interest
to
others who live in mobilehomes.
Thanks
again and I look forward to hearing from you again.

I
am coming in out of the dark, being a recent homeowner and
member of
the Sunnyvale Mobilehome Advisory Council. I find your site
provocative and
informative and hope that you will continue to put in the
many hours it must
take you to keep up with the "news."
No
need for apologies. I am pleased you even respond and appreciate
your concern
and want to thank you very much - Clay has already contacted
me and given me considerable helpful information.
I
was delighted to read the accolades you received for all of
your work on the site.
Will look forward to reading and gaining more information
in the future months.
Thank
you.
Dorothy Pearson
John,
Thank
you for taking the time to reply to my inquiry.
I
am seeking specific information. If anyone out there knows
how I can get a listing
of tenant owned parks in California. We are a small tenant
owned park in Carpinteria California and interested in finding
a management company located in the central coast area, who
have experience with parks such as ours.
Thank
you for your work.
Beth Anderson
Note:
Beth, just look through the "Links" section of the
Manufactured Home Owners Network,
you should find what you are looking for - and much more.

John
John:
Thank
you for your quick response. I have been calling for about
two weeks -
every
department of city, county, & U.S. Then a neighbor told
me about you folks.
We have a very bad situation here. It has been addressed in
1994.
When the citizens group met with manager and the Lawyer/park
owner.
They hired an armed guard to stand at the door.
The intimidation has not stopped since.
We just moved in, Nov. 21st.
I will contact a lawyer from your group.
Respectfully
Clifford Hawk
Note:
Clifford,
Talk about intimidation!!!
You have got to nip this one in the bud. If not, things will
only get worse.
If I ever encountered an armed guard at a home owners meeting,
I would ask to see their credentials... then probably call
the police anyway.
I feel this is way beyond basic park owners/managers intimidation
tactics,
but now borders on implied threats.
-John
I
welcome the opportunity to be linked with your web site.
More than anything I am glad to be sharing, what is going
on in this park,
with others who also live in mobile home parks. Through your
articles that I have
been reading I have come to realize that the only way to hopefully
bring about some change is by exposing what the owners are
doing. Whether things change or not,
at least it is being shared with others who are fighting the
same conditions elsewhere.
