You said that park maintenance and repairs are very unacceptable to you. Would you elaborate on that? Any examples?

  • Too many cars parking in the street/Too much junk/Fire hazard.
  • No one has fixed the street/Chuck holes/Closed down the clubhouse/No lounge.
    The road is unacceptable.

  • Things don’t look as nice as when they first moved here/Problems aren’t looked into/The properties aren’t kept up/Bad lighting.

  • Pool was broken and they fixed it as fast as they could.
  • I’m trying to sell my house/No one will buy it because my three neighbors don’t take care of their yard/There are weeds everywhere.
  • They used to pay for the water and the trash and then we got stuck with it.
  • I have security laser that got broken and it took them ten days to repair it.
  • If the plumbing goes they don’t have anything to do with it/If your car port need asphalting they don’t have anything to do with it/Coach now run down.
  • Have not done repairs/Coach now run down.
  • The streets are never swept/Don’t trim the trees over the street/Let kids run wild. Park is going to be closed down/When there are potholes in the roads and because they are closing the park they are not fixing these things.

Question 12.

You said that the resolution of problems is very unacceptable to you. Would you elaborate on that? Any examples?

  • I have no rights/I don’t get listened to.
  • The management harasses a young couple in the park, and no one will do anything about it.
  • The resolution brought no answer.
  • The management doesn’t listen to problems.
  • They don’t try to solve problems.
  • Animals.
  • Managers won’t work with people.
  • Nothing is getting done about noisy neighbors.
  • No comments.
  • They don’t enforce the rules.
  • Complaints aren’t taken care of/People do whatever they want/There are not enough consequences.
  • Rent is too high/I can’t afford it.
  • My friend has a gas leak and the manager was mad because I called him to fix it and he was in the shower.
  • Showing partiality.
  • Hard to change places and parks.
  • There isn’t any resolution of problems, the manager decides.
  • I was the president of the homeowners association and it was hard to follow through.
  • Owners won’t consider selling to us/I don’t think that’s really fair after living here for so long/They ought to give us a break.
  • Owner was here and decided to close sidewalks except ours/When the kids were going to damage to property.
  • Nothing gets done.
  • One of the owners told some ladies off, he can’t be bothered/He has other things to do.
  • Prices, and there is no response for problems.
    Can’t seem to get cooperation with some of the maintenance people/The manager seems to think that the problem is yours and not theirs.
  • Do not follow well.
